Veg Chicago
Over the Memorial Day weekend, we completed our first veg*n restaurant tour of Chicago, IL. Although there are literally dozens of veg options in Chicago, we had to limit our tour to seven restaurants (since we were only in town for two days). Our carefully researched choices ranged from fast food (www.veggiebite.com) to gourmet cuisine (www.thegreenzebrachicago.com).

Overall, Chicago is very veg*n friendly and is an essential destination for all veggie tourists. Be sure to check out our full reviews in the videos below!
Stay tuned as the veggie tourists take on San Fransisco, Los Angeles, and Dallas/Fort Worth later this summer!

Veg NYC 2007/2008
New York City is famous (in the veg community) for it variety of vegan offerings. We have been to NYC twice in past few years and have dinned at dozens of wonderful veg restaurants.
Favorites include Teany, the Sacred Chow, Franchia, Red Bamboo, and Foodswings. The google map below contains many of the best veg destinations in Manhattan.

In 2007, we were able to skip over to NYC for two days after Erin finished her practice boards in Philadelphia.
We hope to visit NYC again in the near future and complete formal reviews of our favorite restaurants.
